As the most influential Canadian artist of the 20th Century and the inspiration for the Group of Seven, Tom Thomson gave the Canadian wilderness iconic form. Many people have written about him, his work and the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death. Despite all this research, it still feels like we know so little about him.
