Check out Mactaquac Provincial Park! The park offers sledding, outdoor skating, cross-country skiing, fat biking, and more! Need some equipment? You can reserve your rentals by calling ahead. Make sure to visit the park on Saturday, January 30 for their 2026 Winter Forest Escape – the official kick off to their Forest Skate! 

Looking for other frosty adventures in the Fredericton Capital Region? Take in the wonder of winter at Officers’ Square every weekend during FROSTival, with free skating parties for the whole family in the afternoon or a groovin’ DJ skate under the stars at night.
