Flute and guitar duo, Duo Beija-Flor, presents a dynamic, accessible repertoire of classical works inspired by diverse cultures found around the world. This fresh and modern style they call ethno-classical highlights the emotions and experiences we all share, expressed through music. 

Musings from Elsewhere pairs classical works that share a musical style or common inspiration. The six pairings that make up the program are pulled from composers and influences from around the globe. Sometimes the pairings are from composers from different places, and others are from different periods, but each pair shares a common muse.
